Great vibe
Was unexpectedly impressed by this hotel - stone's throw from Euston, lovely friendly staff, large pristeen room, good pub over the road, and excellent value for the deal I got on late rooms. The corridors are really functional and bland, but then you step into your room and it's smart and large, with nice attention to detail, such as strawberry shortcakes (as well as the usual biscuits on the tea tray), a funky showerhead, nice decor. I had to catch a 6am train, so didn't get to try the breakfast (served from 6.45am), but the receptionist was so thoughtful and said she'd get the kitchen to leave some breakfast out for me (I declined as knew I'd be in too much of a hurry to eat). All in all, nice place to stay and good value. Would definitely stay there again. Lates Rooms booking ref 10308036R. August 2010
Hidden gem!
If I could get in here every week I would probably pay the full price to do so. It's 2 mins walk from Euston, in a quiet street. Lovely comfortable bed, air conditioning that works and a modern shower room. The hospitality tray had good tea and coffee, biscuits and mints, and a kettle that looked clean (quite rare in London hotels!) The breakfast is self-service hot and cold buffet, which I really enjoyed. I really think that London hotels are the most over-priced and badly served in the Western world but this is a true exception to the rule. Lates Rooms booking ref 10155362R. August 2010
The staff at the hotel are very welcoming and friendly. The hotel section is the 3rd floor of the building, the other 2 floors are student accommodation, but don't be put off. The rooms are well furnished in a modern style with a half decent TV setup. The channels are a little restricted but perfectly adequate. The room tea and coffee making facilities including biscuits. Breakfast is excellent with freshly cooked eggs and decent coffee. Buses into central London are either from Euston Station down towards the Strand or from 2 roads East where buses head towards Charing Cross and the British Museum. Underground Stations are also close by.
A good small hotel if Euston is where you need to be.. Lates Rooms booking ref 10035612R. August 2010
Our conference on 29 April was a successful and most enjoyable day. We would like to thank your staff for their willingness to attend to our every need in such a friendly and competent way. They behave as if no request, no matter how awkward, is too much trouble for them. The food was, as usual, extremely good. Our delegates enjoyed being at the MIC Centre and a number of them made very positive comments to me about the venue. Shelagh Pooley, Trevor Roberts Associates, Training Event Co-ordinator. I was lucky enough to find out about the MIC several years ago and it's my preferred 'home from home' when working in London. The accommodation is first rate, the staff extremely friendly and helpful and by staying there I'm also contributing to a charity. Over the years it's just got better and better. I would like to write a short appreciation note about how staying at MIC makes me feel at home. The environment here is so good and the people around (particularly the staff) are so kind and gentle. Through this note I would like to say a short word but which means a lot: Thanks. George - Resident MIC student. February 2010
The event was great success and thanks to you and your staff too! I particularly want to thank the catering staff which was extremely helpful (I can’t remember the name of one girl who was there till the end). Please let them know about this feedback - everyone present on the day also said the venue was great, the food very tasty and everything very well organized. Keep up the good work! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with reliable air conditioning and good sized bathrooms. It's also quiet, which seems to be something of a rarity for central locations. Nick B - York. July 2009
The hotel was very well located, with two tube stations within easy walking distance. I would recommend to others, and would not hesitate to book again if we revisited the capital. Trish - Oldham, United Kingdom. April 2009
